Wellington Traffic Control (WTC) is expanding, and we’re looking for motivated STMS (Site Traffic Management Specialists) to join our traffic management division based in Lower Hutt, servicing the Wellington Region.
Whether you’re an experienced leader or just starting out, we have opportunities to grow your career in Temporary Traffic Management (TTM).

🚧 About the Role
STMS – Lead with Confidence
As an STMS, you’ll take charge of crews across a variety of TTM sites. You’ll ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while working closely with internal teams and external clients. This role is central to our transition from CoPTTM to NZGTTM, New Zealand’s risk-based approach to temporary traffic management.


Requirements

🎯 What You’ll Bring
STMS
  • Current STMS CAT A qualification (CAT B preferable)
  • Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 an advantage – training support available)
  • Confidence using smartphones/tablets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive approach to health and safety
